Social Safeguards/Gender Specialist
Morpheous is seeking a Social Safeguards/Gender Specialist to join its team to assist with current and exciting future projects. We are looking for a professional who enjoy working with people in a multidisciplinary team environment and strive for excellence. Ideally, you would have an University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in involuntary resettlement, sociology and gender. Minimum of 15 years’ overall experience. Minimum of 8 years in social safeguards assessment, involuntary resettlement and gender mainstreaming preferably for transport projects. Experience in preparing resettlement plans according to ADB’s Safeguards Policy Statement is an advantage. Experience in projects in developing countries funded by international financing institutions is essential. Experience in Papua New Guinea or other developing countries in the Pacific is an advantage.
